The Bloomsburg Fire Hall will not be hosting their regular breakfast this morning, due to the holiday weekend. The breakfasts will resume in the fall.
The Berwick Anti-Drug Alliance will hold a community forum this Monday at the McBride Memorial Library on Market Street in Berwick. The topic will be "Addictions, recovery, and spirituality," with a panel featuring Rev. John Baumgartner of Reformers Unanimus, Rev. Aaron Hastie, and Lt. Kevin Polito of the Berwick Salvation Army. Everyone is invited. The talk starts at 6 PM.
The Penn State Master Gardeners of Columbia County contiue their monthly series of free gardening classes at the McBride Memorial Library on Tuesday the 22nd. It's time to register for the 2014 First Columbia Teen Star musical competition, coming up on June 1 in the Haas center, Bloomsburg University. Two top winners will be selected this year - one vocalist and one instrumentalist. First place in both wins $1,500. It's open to any high school student who attends school in Columbia County.
