The Danville High School Drama Club will present their Spring performance this weekend. "Working" is based on a book by Studs Turkel, and takes a look at the hopes and dreams of the American workforce. Showtime is 2 PM this afternoon. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Nescopeck Borough Volunteer Fire Company will hold a chineese auction this Sunday from 11 AM - 2 PM. The hall is on Warren Street in Nescopeck.


Bloomsburg Christian Church at 107 Deussen Drive will hold an old-fashioned ice cream social and hymn sing this Sunday evening. Everyone is invited to attend.


Toddler Time is back at the Bloomsburg Public Library this Monday morning. Bring your kids ages 18 months to 3 years old at 9:15 AM for twenty minutes of stories, music, movement, and fun! All children must be accompanied by and adult. The library is on Market Street in downtown Bloomsburg.


Holy Family Convent in Danville is selling homemade soup and sandwiches every Wednesday during Lent. Soups are $4.50 a quart or $8.50 for a half gallon. Subs are just $4 each. The 2014 Downtown Bloomsburg Chili Cook-Off is coming up this Wednesday night, from 5:30 - 8 PM at the Caldwell Consistory on Market Square. Chilis can be entered into one of 3 categories: Traditional, Spicy, and Willy-Nilly Chili. Entry into the cook-off is $15 per chili. Admission is $8 ahead of time, or $10 at the door.
