The National Weather Service in State College has canceled a flood watch it had posted for Columbia and Montour County. Originally... The NWS had foretasted the Susquehanna to crest at 13 feet... three feet below the “action” stage. But now the river is forecast to crest at 9.6 feet at 7 O'clock Monday evening. Meantime... the start of the week should find high temperatures in the mid 40's... with overnight lows in the upper 20's.
The Women of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg will be serving up some soup in soupport of Kidsburg today. Stop by the church on market street following the 10:30 AM worship service to sample a variety of soups for just $1 each. There will also be sandwiches for just $2.50. Proceeds will benefit the re-building of Kidsburg.
