You can hear the detalils from this weekend's basketball action with Jim Doyle in the WHLM Saturday Sports Report:

BU Basketball

In college basketball Friday afternoon, the Huskies of BU won both their games versus Clarion in their first action of the new year. The Women's final was 72-52. The Men's final was 61-53.

On Saturday, the Huskies split a pair of games against new Conference members Pitt-Johnstown. The Women won convincingly, 90-64. The Men's game was delayed just before halftime due to a medical emergency in the stands. Both teams came back strong, fighting it out to a 71-69 win for Pitt-Johnstown.

The Huskies will be on the road for their next games, when they will travel to IUP on Wednesday night.

HS Basketball

In High School Hoops this weekend, the boys from Central Columbia faced arch-rivals Bloomsburg in a Saturday night game. Central came out on top 36-22.

Our next High School backetball broadcast will be Monday night, when the Bloomsburg girls play at Southern Columbia. Coverage on the WHLM stations gets under way after the 7PM news.
