PA Game Commission spokesman Travis Lau says a growing bear population may lead to more bear-human encounters. Bomboy suffered injuries to her ear and is recovering well. It's the biggest owl in North America and will feast on pesky rodents. Make sure to observe the snow white owl with black markings at a respectful distance- its a protected bird of prey.
