BTE's TreeFest opens again this weekend, and December 6, 7, & 8th at the Caldwell Consistory, Main & Market streets in downtown Bloomsburg. Come and see the decorated trees, hear some music, check out some local artisans and help suppourt your local theatre troupe! Admission is $6 for adults. Children 12 and under get in free.

The Danville Stadium Council is hosting the Trans-Siberian Orchestra inspired group, Twelve-Twenty Four at the Danville Middle School on Sunday at 6 pm. Tickets are 25 dollars at the door with proceeds benefiting the Danville Stadium Council Track and Turf project.
Liberty Township Fire Company in Mooresburg is serving an all-you-can-eat Breakfast and Brunch on Sunday from 7 am until 1 pm. Price is $8 for adults and only $4 for kids. All proceeds will benefit the Fire Company.
Fabulous Felines has a Vera Bradley Bingo coming up tomorrow to benefit the cat rescue and adoption group. The bingo will be held at the Bloomsburg Fire Department on Market Street. Doors open at 12:30 pm, games begin at 2 pm. Cost is $20 for 20 games. There will be food and drinks available for purchase and there will also be a raffle, Chinese auction, and 50/50 drawing.

The Kozy Kids winter wear donation drive is under way. Donations of hats, gloves and scarves will be distributed to children in our local commuinity this winter. Berwick HS Football
The Berwick High School football team will go to the state semifinals for the first time since 2004. Friday night the Bulldogs trounced Clearfield 44-7 in a Class AAA state quarterfinal at Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall. Berwick remains unbeaten going into the Semifinals against Archbishop Wood, who beat Academy Park 42-12 Friday night.
It was a rematch for the Bloomsburg University football team on Saturday as they faced West Chester in an NCAA regional quarterfinal at Danny Hale Field at Redman Stadium. Bloomsburg never gave up, but the Huskies ultimately could not overcome the Rams, West Chester winning 40-38. BU ends with the highest-scoring season in school history.
