The 6th Annual Night of Giving is Sunday November 10th between 6pm and 9pm at the Columbia Mall. Join Team Haney and WHLM for a night of family fun to benefit the National Lung Cancer Partnership to raise money in a fun way. $5 for adults and $2.50 for children for food sampling, door prizes, mall wide discounts and lots of free stuff. The Mall is located at the Buckhorn Exit off of I-80.
The Bloomsburg Women's Shelter 5K walk/run is Sunday November 10th at 1 pm at the Bloomsburg University Stadium Track on upper campus. There will be a $20 registration fee.
The Benton British Car Club will meet Sunday, November 10th, at 3 pm at Strevig's Family Restaurant, Route 487 in Benton. Anyone who owns a British car is welcome to attend.
Central Susquehanna Sight Services is hosting a car raffle. They’re giving away a 2013 Honda Insight Hybrid with 49 other prizes valued at $100. You can get tickets now for the November 14th drawing. Raffle tickets are a donation of $15 per ticket. Tickets are available at Bloom Vision and The Albertson Eye Care Center.
High School Football
High school football's postseason playoffs began Friday night. In our Game of the Week, Defending District 4 AA champion Danville staved off Lewisburg in a quarterfinal game that ended 23-6.
In a District 4 Class A semifinal heard on Classic Rock 103.5, Southern Columbia beat Bloomsburg 49-14.
Saturday afternoon Berwick edged past Crestwood 14-13 in a District 2 AAA Semifinal.
In college football Saturday, Bloomsburg University defeated previously unbeaten West Chester 31-28. Bloomsburg goes on to play Slippery Rock in the PSAC Championship.

The Bloomsburg University Men's basketball team fell to Chestnut Hill in their season opener Friday night 68-62. On Saturday the Women won their match against Chestnut Hill 97-57.
