The Free Saturday Trains program is open at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church from 10:00 AM to Noon. They feature their talking train and a model merry go round that adults and kids can play with. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
The Children's Museum presents Haunted Museum Day on Saturday October 19th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. They invite your kids out for the spooky decorations, ghoulish crafts, mysterious activities, and science demonstrations. Wear a costume for $1.00 off admission. The Free Wheelchair Engineers Train Program at the Columbia Mall is open each Saturday from Noon to 4:00 PM. The display is up and running with the American Flyer and Dillon Floral limited-edition train with the puffing MTH steam engine.
SMILE is happy to announce that they will now host meetings in Bloomsburg and Berwick. SMILE is a group for single mothers to get together for support and friendship. In college football Saturday, the unbeaten Huskies of Bloomsburg University battled it out with East Stroundsburg in a record-setting game at ESU.
