The 158th Bloomsburg Fair continues today through Saturday September 28th. There is lots of food, crafts, vendors, and daily entertainment. It’s happening at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.
The Free Saturday Trains program is open at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church from 10:00 AM to Noon. They feature their talking train and a model merry go round that adults and kids can play with. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
Artspace Gallery will open an exhibit featuring new clay work by Sara Baker and fiber by Denise Richards on Thursday August 22nd. Recordings of music composed by Sean Richards Teeter will play during the show. The show runs through September 29th with an opening reception on August 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Central Susquehanna Sight Services are hosting a car raffle. They’re giving a way a 2013 Honda Insight Hybrid with 40 second prizes valued at $100. You can get tickets now for the November 14th drawing. Raffle tickets are a donation of $15.00 per ticket. Look for Central Susquehanna Sight Services at area events to enter. The Orangeville Public Library will host their 2nd annual scarecrow-decorating contest again this year. Registration and pick up of scarecrow frames is from September 16th through October 12th.
