The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble presents their annual summer family show “The Enchanted Pig” now through July 28th. This weekend’s show times are tonight at 6:30 PM and tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 PM. They have weekday shows on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Roaring Creek Valley United Methodist Church in Catawissa is hosting their monthly breakfast for a donation from 7:00 to 9:30 AM today. This month’s donation support Volunteers in Mission and Geisinger Heart and Vascular Institute.
The 143rd Lycoming County Fair wraps up today. There’s entertainment, rides, and more. Entry fee is $6.00. The fairgrounds are located in Hughesville.
There is an open house today from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Children’s Library at the Bloomsburg Public Library. There will be a scavenger hunt and refreshments. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The handicapped accessible model train layout at the Columbia Mall is open today from Noon to 4:00 PM.
The free Saturday trains program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville is open for extended hours today from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the Iron Heritage Festival. They’ll have special videos running with footage of steam engines of the 30s and 40s.
The Center Street Café and Gallery in Downtown Bloomsburg is hosting Hemmingway Days today from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. There will be a children’s puppet show and face paintings. Following that it’ll be short story readings and a discussion on Hemmingway’s life.
Moyer’s Grove Campground in Wapwallopen is hosting their second annual Christmas in July craft and vendor show from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM today. The free event is open to the public and benefits the Make A Wish foundation.
Taylor’s Bar and Grill, located in Unityville, invites you to Summer’s Peak music festival today. There will be food, vendors and live music all day long. Cost is $15 for an all day pass, the event supports the American Cancer Society.
The Potts Grove Fire Company is serving up their monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and brunch tomorrow from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The fire company is located off Route 642 between Danville and Milton.
Mountain Aviation is hosting a car show, antique tractor show and fly-in as part of Danville’s Iron Heritage Festival tomorrow from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It’s happening at the Danville Airport.
The Grove Presbyterian Church of Danville will host another summer evening experience tomorrow night from 5:30 to 7:30 PM…with food, a Dr. Seuss reading, family activities, music, scripture, and worship.
