The Memorial Baseball Tournament is happening at the Millville Little League Field today and tomorrow. Games start at 8:00 AM both days..and feature the Millville Maniacs along with teams from Shikellamy, Jonestown, Mifflilnburg, Benton and other areas. There will be concessions and carnival games too.
The Southside Fire Company Carnival will wrap up today. There’s a chicken barbeque and entertainment is the band Beef.
The carnival at the Ber-Vaughn Pool of Berwick continues today from 1:00 to 11:00 PM. It’s being held to raise funds to save the swimming pool.
The Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company is hosting their annual Memorial Day Weekend Fair. The carnival grounds open at 4:30 PM tonight and tomorrow, and 10:00 AM on Monday. There’s entertainment nightly. Monday is the Fireman’s parade and Olympics.
Sweet Valley Church of Christ is hosting a special Memorial Day service tomorrow at 9:30 AM.
Pine Street Baptist Church will celebrate Memorial Day with a special service tomorrow at Ber-Vaughn Park in Berwick at 10:45 AM.
And, the big event this weekend is the 125th annual Memorial Day Parade and Celebration tomorrow and Monday. Events are happening tomorrow in Mifflinville Town Park with lots of vendors and activities. Monday the German School will be open for tours from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The annual parade starts at 9:00 AM Monday. It’ll travel from the corner of 3rd and Race Streets to the Cemetery. Events continue Monday after the parade in Mifflinville Town Park.
