WHLM Employee Helps Extinguish Fire

Late Monday Morning a vehicle caught fire in the parking lot located off Iron Street behind the WHLM Studios location in Downtown Bloomsburg.  Station Employee Larry Hopper heard the call come over the fire scanner, and immediately sprang into action.  Using his quick thinking and the station's fire extinguisher he was able to stop the vehicle fire before it spread.  The Bloomsburg Fire Department reported to the scene to make sure things were wrapped up.
