Take part in the Danville Area Community Center’s 17th annual 5K today. Proceeds from the race benefit the DACC’s sponsorship program.
The Children’s Museum is hosting a family fun run today. It starts at the Bloomsburg Public Library and ends at the Museum. The town will have Market Street from pine Avenue to 7th Street in Bloomsburg temporarily closed for the run.
In Berwick it’s the 4th annual Run for the Cause starting at Fuel Fitness.
The Columbia Mall is hosting the free to breath walk put on by Team Haney for the National Lung Cancer Partnership today.
There’s a blood drive today at the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation…they are located on West Front Street in Berwick.
Support the Central Columbia Football Boosters at their annual craft show today. They have over seventy vendors set up at the school…located on Old Berwick Road in Bloomsburg.
St. Matthew Lutheran Church on North Market Street in Bloomsburg has their third annual fair trade fair today at the church. This year’s proceeds benefit the Columbia County Volunteers in Medicine.
Mahoning Presbyterian Church’s fall bazaar is today. They have plants, crafts, jewelry, and food…the church is located at the corner of East Mahoning and Ferry Streets in Danville.
Another bazaar at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Grovania today…with crafts, and homemade soup sandwiches and ice cream.
If you’re hungry tonight you can stop by St. Paul’s Straub Lutheran Church for a family style roast beef dinner. Serving is from 3:00 to 6:30 PM, and take outs are available. The church is on Frosty Valley Road in Danville.
It’s Murder Mystery Theater tonight at the Moose Exchange in Downtown Bloomsburg with “Greased.” Doors open at 6:30 PM.
The Columbia Montour Barbershoppers are celebrating “45 Years of Harmony” tonight at the Central Columbia High School Auditorium. To get your tickets today call 387-7918. The show starts promptly at 7:59 PM.
And, tomorrow Fabulous Felines Cat Rescue will host Vera Bradley Bingo at the Bloomsburg Fire Hall. Doors open at 12:30 PM, and games begin at 2:00 PM. It’s twenty games for twenty dollars…refreshments will be available.

Bloomsburg and Central Columbia ended the regular season by renewing their neighborhood rivalry Friday night at Redman Stadium on the BU campus. The game ended in a 34-12 Bloomsburg victory.
Berwick / Hazleton
Berwick exteneded their record to 9-1 after beating Hazleton 49-7 at Crispin Field on Friday night.
Danville defeated Selinsgrove 24-14 in a Heartland Conference Division I Championship... and Southern Columbia trounced Warrior Run 50-19. Saturday afternoon Columbia Montour Vo - Tech is at home against Pius X.
