In boys basketball Friday night, in a match-up of two Heartland Conference champions, Southern Columbia beat Bloomsburg in the closing game of the regular season. The final was 46-37 Southern.
The Huskies of BU were on the road at Kutztown to defend their postseason rankings Saturday. The Women rallied back after the first half to beat Kutztown 69-50. The Men took the lead in the closing seconds only to have victory snatched from their hands by a Hail Mary throw; the final, Kutztown 56 - Bloomsburg 55.
