The free Saturday Trains program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville is open as usual today.
The St. Luke Lutheran church youth are holding an all you can eat spaghetti dinner this afternoon from 4:30 to 7:00. Proceeds benefit the trip to the 2012 Lutheran Youth Gathering. Cost is $6.00 for you, $5.00 for seniors, $4.00 for your kids ages 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and younger. The church is located along Lightstreet Road in Bloomsburg.
St. Paul’s Church in Berwick is hosting a craft and vendor show today until 2:00 pm. There will be a Chinese auction and baked goods. The church is located at 1000 Orange Street in Berwick.
The Millville Fire Company will have a soup sale today from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Cost is $2.25 per bowl, or $4.00 per quart. Soup choices are ham and bean, chili, vegetable and chicken corn. They’ll have bar-b-que, hot dogs, and desserts available too. It’s happening at the Millville Fire Company.
Tomorrow Columbia County will cheer on one of their own, as Henry Hynoski of Southern Columbia plays with the New York Giants against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Kick off is scheduled for 6:30 tomorrow night.

Boys HS Basketball
Central Columbia and Bloomsburg renewed their boys high school basketball rivalry Friday night at Central's Elementary School Gymnasium. In a game heard on the WHLM stations it was Central Columbia that took the 48-34 win.
The Bloomsburg University Men's and Women's basketball teams were on the road at Cheyney Saturday afternoon. The Women soundly defeated the Wolves in their game 86-30.
