The Millville Fire Company will be busy this weekend with two all you can eat buffets. This afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 PM they’re serving up an all you can eat Italian buffet with lasagna, stuffed shells, manicotti and much more.
Then tomorrow at the Millville Fire Company is an all you can eat breakfast buffet open from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The breakfast buffet will feature old-fashioned sour buckwheat cakes. Both buffets are at the fire hall.
The free trains program at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church is open today. They have their brand new talking train along with dozens more. The church is located at the corner of Pine and East Market Streets in Danville.
The free wheel chair engineers train program at the Columbia Mall will be open on Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Also coming up on Monday the Greater Berwick Chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting a First Aid Review Class from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The Berwick Red Cross is located at 309 North Vine Street…for information call 752-7221.
AGAPE is hosting a public flood meeting on Monday at 6:30 PM at the Bloomsburg Christian Church located at 107 Deussen Drive off of Route 11 between Bloomsburg and Danville.
On Tuesday the Bloomsburg Public Library invites your kids out to practice their read-aloud skills with book buddies Chloe Bella and Reily. They are therapy dogs who love to listen. The library is located on Market Street in Bloomsburg.
The American Cancer Society will hold training classes on Tuesday and Wednesday for Road to Recovery Volunteers. Volunteers will help drive patients to their appointments. For more information on the program contact the American Cancer Society Greater Susquehanna Area Office in Selinsgrove.
And from the WHLM Future File, Camp-A-Bility at Camp Victory and Special Olympics are sponsoring a bingo at Bloomsburg High School next Sunday to raise money for two local families. The Pampered Chef, Thirty-One, and Lia Sophia bingo will start at 1:30 pm and doors will open at noon.
BU Men's & Women's Basketball
The Huskies had a bad start to the weekend as both teams fell to Gannon on Friday night. The Women's final was 63-53. The Men's final was 81-67. Saturday the Huskies snapped back with wins at Clarion; the Women winning 75-68 and the Men holding on to an 87-85 win. The teams are back in action Wednesday at Shippensburg.
