Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble presents Treefest this weekend and next.  Come to the Caldwell Consistory to view hundreds of decorated Christmas trees.  Hours are noon to 5:00 pm today.

 

The Southside Fire Company Christmas Tree lot is now open.  They are located behind the fire company at 200 Avenue D in Riverside…all proceeds from tree sales benefit the fire company.

 

Downtown Bloomsburg presents the annual Northpole Express today…the train ride departs from the corner of Market and 7th Streets in Bloomsburg.

 

This weekend the Unityville Fire Company is hosting their 52nd annual 24 hour buckwheat cakes and sausage supper…they’ll be serving up food straight through 9:00 pm tonight.

 

The Turn the Page free book giveaway continues at the Columbia Mall.  Sunday hours are 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

The Animal Resource Center is hosting a gun raffle party today at the Epsy Fire Hall.  Doors open at 3:00 PM.

 

The Bloomsburg Fire Department is hosting a Pampered Chef and Vera Bradley bingo today.  Cost is 20 games for $20.  Doors open at noon, games start at 2:00 PM.

In High School Footbal playoffs Friday night, On Newsradio 930 Mount Carmel shut out Bloomsburg 28-0 after Bloomsburg QB Blake Rankin left the game injured within the first few minutes.
