Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble presents Treefest this weekend and next.  Come to the Caldwell Consistory to view hundreds of decorated Christmas trees.  Hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm today and noon to 5:00 pm tomorrow.


The Southside Fire Company Christmas Tree lot is now open.  They are located behind the fire company at 200 Avenue D in Riverside…all proceeds from tree sales benefit the fire company.


Downtown Bloomsburg presents the annual Northpole Express today and tomorrow…the train ride departs from the corner of Market and 7th Streets in Bloomsburg.


This weekend the Unityville Fire Company is hosting their 52nd annual 24 hour buckwheat cakes and sausage supper…they’ll be serving up food all day today straight through 9:00 pm tomorrow.


The Turn the Page free book giveaway continues at the Columbia Mall.  Saturday hours are 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Sunday hours are 1:00 to 5:00 pm.


Hill Crest Canine Country Club invites you to join them today for Howl-A-Day.  There will be lots of specials, give-a-ways, and pet photos…funds will be donated to the Danville SPCA and Animal Resource Center.


Wesley United Methodist Church will be holding their weekly community meal today.  Today they’re serving up a Thanksgiving meal.


The Montour Delong Fairgrounds are hosting an all you can eat haddock fish dinner from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

The Bloomsburg Fire Department is hosting a pampered chef and vera Bradley bingo tomorrow.  Cost is 20 games for $20.  Doors open at noon, games start at 2:00 PM.

In High School Footbal playoffs Friday night, On Newsradio 930 Mount Carmel shut out Bloomsburg 28-0 after Bloomsburg QB Blake Rankin left the game injured within the first few minutes. On Classic Rock 103.5 Southern Columbia traded blows with Old Forge and emerged the victor 45-34. You can hear the details from the night's action in the WHLM Friday Night Football Update:
