You can catch the latest Bloomsburg Theater Ensemble production of “Doubt, A Parable” this afternoon at 3:00 pm. The show runs through October 16th.
The Animal Resource Center is sponsoring American Girl Doll bingo today at the Bloomsburg Fire Hall. Doors open at 12:30…food and baked goods will be available.
You have until next Friday to donate books to local children as part of the Turn the Page Book Drive. The book collections are happening all over Columbia County including the Bloomsburg Public Library, the Columbia Mall and Walmart in Buckhorn, AGAPE, the Columbia County Courthouse and at the WHLM Studios.
A reminder that if you are looking to volunteer or need flood relief assistance to see AGAPE. They are located on 7th street in Bloomsburg. All you need to do is fill out a form to receive volunteer opportunity announcements. They also have many supplies available to assist in the flood clean up.
And, the American Red Cross continues to sell flood t-shirt to raise money. Shirts are $10 each ($12 for sizes 2/3-X). You can order a shirt by calling us at 784-1200.

The Panthers of Bloomsburg challeneged Southern Columbia for their Homecoming game Friday night. Bloom put up a valiant effort but fell to the the tigers 67-27. In Bulldogs action, Berwick took down Tunkhannock 35-13. In other local games Mount Carmel fended off Central Columbia 33-24 and Danville shut out Jersey Shore 44-0.
In College action Saturday, Bloomsburg University hosted Cheyney for their Homecoming festivities. The Huskies easily defeated Cheyney 45-10. You can catch all the details from Saturday's match with Jim Doyle in the WHLM Husky Post Game Report:
