Here’s what’s happening Sunday August 21st:
The Third Annual Motorcycle and Car Cruise Benefit for the Mifflin Township Forest Ranger’s truck is today with registration from 8 am to 11 am with breakfast included. After the run, return to the fire hall for a meal and music by the Tex Mowery Band. Call Jay for more details at 441-2997.
The Potts Grove Fire Hall is serving up their monthly all you can eat buffet today from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. They have eggs, homefries, sausage, bacon, scrapple and more on the menu. Cost is $7.00 for you, $3.50 for your kids 4 to 12, and free for younger ones. The fire company is located off of route 642 between Danville and Milton.
The Roaring Creek Valley Conservation Association is running the Hellbender Half Marathon and 5K race today in Weiser State Forest. Proceeds promote clear water in the state forest.
The Southern Gospel Group, True Heart Quartet, will be in concert in Benton Park on tonight at 6:00 pm. Bring your lawn chair and your family and friends. A free-will offering will be received. Rain location is the Benton High School. Sponsored by the Benton Christian Church and Living Word Baptist Church.
