The Boondockers 4x4 club is holding a mud bog today at the Summerhill Fire Company grounds in Berwick rain or shine. Food is available, with breakfast starting at 8:00 am. Bring along your lawn chairs and blankets. No alcohol, grills or pets.
Join in the fight against Fracking in our area…come out to “Get The Frack Out Of Here” today at the Bloomsburg Town Park Band Shell. It’s an all day concert with free screenings of the Oscar nominated documentary “Gasland.”
The Buckhorn Community Volunteer Fire Company will host their 4th annual community yard sale, craft show, and chicken barbeque today. It’s from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and meals cost eight dollars. The event is rain or shine.
The Central Columbia Class of 1970 is holding their annual picnic is today at the Fishing Creek Campground in Orangeville. Festivities begin at 1:00 pm and will last until the last person goes home. Please bring a covered dish to share. Meat and drinks will be provided.
Downtown Bloomsburg presents Artfest today from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Center Street.
The Moose Exchange in Downtown Bloomsburg is holding free introductory art classes today. For more information call The Exchange at 317-2596.
The Columbia County Rampage 14U girls’ fast pitch softball travel team will be holding tryouts today at 4:00 pm at the Bloomsburg High School Softball field. Eligible players must be 14 years old and younger and cannot be 15 years old before January 1st.
Bethany United Methodist Church in Berwick is throwing an ice cream social today starting at 4:00 pm.
The Montour Delong Community Fair will wrap up after today. They’ll have free entertainment, free admission and $3.00 parking.
The Valley Chemical Annual Carnival is going on today. They’ll have lots of carnival fun and entertainment starting at 6:00 pm. Tonight’s entertainment is Lucky Afternoon.
