Central Columbia Two Minute Drill: Week 11

Central vs. Mount Carmel 11/9/12

The Central Columbia Blue-Jays had quite the season...losing to only Mount Carmel, Southern, and Bloomsburg...three tough opponents who also moved on to the district playoffs. The Blue Jays had one more chance to beat Mount Carmel Friday night in a District 4 Class AA playoff game, and for the first half of the game they were able to stop the Red Tornados. But Mt. Carmel's defense also kept Central from putting any points on the board. In the end it was a shut out with Mount Carmel defeating Central 17-0. Friday night was the first time Central made it to a postseason game since 2004. The Blue Jays end their season with an impressive 7-4 record.
